Revival Fresh Salsa Recipe
2 Carbon Tomatoes or Martino's Roma Tomatoes chopped
1/2 cup finely chopped Red Wethersfield Onion
2 cloves garlic minced
1 finely chopped Hungarian Hot Wax Pepper (or Sheepnose Pimento Pepper if you prefer less heat)
2 Tbsp chopped Greek Oregano or Cilantro (Coriander)
2 tsp lime or lemon juice
2 tsp olive oil
1/4 tsp salt
pinch pepper
In bowl, mix together tomatoes, onion, garlic, and pepper. Sprinkle with oregano, lemon juice, oil, vinegar, salt, and pepper. Stir to mix well. Serve immediately or cover and refrigerate. Makes 2 cups.
