'Lady Grisel Hamilton' is an 1899 introduction by the legendary Scottish horticulturist and sweet pea breeder Henry Eckford. Unlike the heavily ruffled modern Spencer varieties, 'Lady Grisel Hamilton' is a classic Grandiflora sweet pea, with smaller, elegant, hooded blooms in beautiful shades of pale lavender-mauve to purple.
