Tangerine Gem Marigold (Tageres tenuifolia) Also known as Signet marigold, this is a delicate branching variety that blooms non-stop well into fall. Produces hundreds of petite orange flowers blooming on 12’ mounds of lacy foliage. Long-blooming period makes it attractive for beds, borders and containers where it will attract a wide variety of beneficial insects. We specifically notice a large population ladybugs and parasitic wasps hanging out near the flowers. Leaves of the plant are edible and are used as flavourful salad greens and garnish. A highly citrusy scented plant with multiple uses. Matures from transplant at 62 days.
