Zulu Prince Daisy (Arctotis fastuosa var. alba). The species is commonly known as 'Monarch-of-the-veldt' or 'Cape daisy'. A native of South Africa, this annual (perennial in Zone 8+) thrives in heat, sun, and drought. That being said, it has also been thriving in our Maritime climate! Zulu Price Daisy is a mid-morning bloomer of beautiful creamy-white flowers as large as 4 inches in diameter. Best to dead head blooms in the early morning. Plants will reach approximately 2 ft in height. Leaves are lobed and silky in appearance. This annual makes a great self-seeding xeriscape plant and is attractive to many pollinating species.
