Buran Polish Bell Pepper (Capsicum annuum) - A very sweet and productive three-lobed Polish heirloom pepper. Plants reach 24-30 inches in height, producing 4" long bell fruits with three lobes. They are even sweet when picked at the green stage. Hands down the sweetest and best yielding pepper that we grew in the drought of 2025 here in Nova Scotia. Can be roasted, eaten fresh, or used in salsas.
85-90 days to maturity.
25 seeds per packet.
Growing Information: Start seeds indoors 8–10 weeks before your last frost date. Sow ¼″ deep in a warm seed-starting mix and keep soil consistently moist and warm for best germination. Transplant seedlings into cell packs or small pots at the 1–2 leaf stage. Harden off plants for 4–5 days once frost risk has passed. Transplant outdoors in full sun when day and night temperatures remain consistently above 10 °C, spacing plants 18–24″ apart in well-drained soil.
