Pinwheel Marigold (Tagetes patula) - A cheerful, compact annual known for its distinctive, pinwheel-like blooms and vibrant garden colour. The flowers feature striking combinations of golden yellow, orange and deep reddish mahogany, with contrasting markings that give each bloom its characteristic pinwheel appearance. Growing approximately 20–30 cm (8–12 inches) tall, plants form neat, bushy mounds of finely divided, aromatic green foliage. Flowering from summer until frost, Pinwheel Marigolds bring lasting colour to garden borders, containers and vegetable gardens. Their bright blooms also attract butterflies and other beneficial insects.
