Wild Bergamot Bee Balm (Monarda fistulosa) A very fragrant plant, while it is growing and after it has been cut. Bee balm flowers attract hummingbirds and butterflies. Each tube-shaped flower has a specialized lower landing pad to assist busy pollinators. Deer and rabbits tend to leave this plant alone. We have found that planting Bee Balm near beans will keep the deer away! Bee balm is an attractive flowering herb with spicy edible flowers!
