Blue Beech Tomato (Solanum lycopersicum) Blue Beech Paste tomato seeds come to us from a young seed saver in Yarmouth NS. This heirloom is thought to have made its way in to the New England States from Italy during the second World War. Blue Beech is the perfect sauce tomato, bearing elongated fruits with streaked blue shouldering. Plants are indeterminate bearing dark green foliage. Fruits are somewhat slow to mature but well worth it! Your sauce pot will love this one! Stew, sauce, canning, slicing, roasting or freeze, or chop, toss and eat them right off the vine. An extremely versatile and popular variety that should be highly considered!
