Golden Detroit Beet (Beta vulgaris) This is an excellent pickling beet with delicious greens. Strikingly yellow elongated roots that are tender and non-bleeders when cooked. Quite vigorous but retains sweetness as roots enlarge. This Golden variety tends to have excellent disease resistance over the original Burpee Golden.
