Boo Radley Nasturtium (Tropaeolum majus) - Very prolific, hardy white-pale yellow, creamy blooms persisting well into late fall. We are very pleased with the trials from 2022 and 2023 and began offering this seed for the first time in the 2024 season. Our seed source comes from a veteran gardener/customer of Carleton Place near Ottawa, Ontario who insisted we grow this variety.  We believe these seeds might have lineage to the “milkmaid’ variety. So thankful to Agnes for gifting us these wonderful seeds! In both years, this was our earliest flowering Nasturtium. As a result, we have intercropped them with early blooming cucurbits and brassicas as a beneficial pollinator and companion plant. Flower blooms that appear later in the season tend to be of a lighter creamy shade towards late evening resembling a ghostly like appearance. Ken has affectionately labeled this variety akin to the character, Boo Radley, in the Harper Lee novel ‘To Kill A Mockingbird’.
