Planting Instructions: Start this annual indoors 6 - 8 weeks before last frost. Scabiosa seeds may benefit from a brief cold period. They require light to germinate, sow seeds shallow and barely cover with soil mix. Space plants 8 -12 inches apart and in a sunny location.Ā In mild winter areas, seeds can be sown in the autumn. Germinates in 10-12 days.Ā Seeds can be sown outdoors in the late fall to satisfy cold period required for spring germination.
