Tangerine Gem Marigold (Tageres tenuifolia) - Also known as 'Signet Marigold', this delicate branching variety blooms non-stop well into the fall. It produces hundreds of petite orange flowers blooming on 12" mounds of lacy foliage. The long-blooming period makes it attractive for beds, borders, and containers where it will attract a wide variety of beneficial insects. We specifically notice a large population of ladybugs and parasitic wasps hanging out near the flowers. The leaves and flowers of the plant are edible and are used as flavourful salad greens and garnish. A highly citrusy scented plant with multiple uses. Matures from transplant at 62 days.
