Snow Princess Calendula (Calendula officinalis) - Gorgeous 3 inch semi-double petaled, lemon-yellow flowers with dark or yellow centres. Vigorous, frost tolerant, and one of the earliest to emerge in the spring. Snow Princess Calendula undergoes a remarkable colour transformation as the blooms mature. Early tightened flower buds start out a vibrant lemon yellow but then gradually unfurl into a beautiful snowy lemon-white bloom with either a dark chocolate or yellow center eye. A cold hardy species that blooms from early spring all the way through the first fall frost. Calendula is easy to grow making it a great variety for beginning gardeners.
