Crystal Palace Lobelia

Crystal Palace Lobelia (Lobelia erinus) - A popular trailing flower grown in window boxes and hanging baskets. This annual flower boasts spectacular dark blue-purple flowers that are highly attractive to bees, butterflies, and most other pollinating insects. In moist soil it will thrive in full sun or partial shade. This trailing Lobelia looks brilliant with Alyssum, and fills empty spaces really well in flower arrangements.

Growing Information: Start indoors 6–8 weeks before last frost. Sow seeds on the soil surface and press lightly, do not cover, as light is required for germination. A humidity dome can help retain moisture until emergence. Keep soil consistently moist and provide bright light. Seeds typically germinate in 10–20 days.

Harden off seedlings for 7–10 days before transplanting outdoors after frost. Space plants 15–20 cm apart in a sunny to partially shaded location with moist, well-drained soil.
