Mexican Mint Marigold (Tagetes lucida) - Often called Spanish Tarragon in the culinary world or Sweet Mace. This species is grown in most northern latitudes as an annual but some folks on Vancouver Island are lucky enough to call it a long-lived perennial. Plants have beautiful dark green glossy leaves with small highly aromatic golden-orange flowers.Â
