Feverfew Matricaria (Tanacetum parthenium) Often used as a filler flower species in beds, borders and as a cut flower in floral arrangements. Blooms resemble miniature daisy-like flowers that are borne on long, sturdy stems. Can be planted in the spring or fall. Feverfew is considered a short-lived perennial in zones 5-9. Our plants continue to overwinter well here in Nova Scotia (Zone 5) with no mulching and minimal snow cover. Can be grown as an annual in Zone 2b-4.
