Brazilian Pea (Sativum pisum) A very large edible-podded pea. Sets beautifully coloured pink-purple flowers. Pods will stay moist for a while so they do require a thorough drying to harvest. A very tasty and sweet pea at the time when pods become filled. Can also be consumed as a cooked dry bean. Seeds are quite ornate with a speckling pattern. It is a pleasure to grow this rare heirloom variety.
