Brunswick Cabbage (Brassica oleracea) An excellent late-season winter variety that we continue to grow over other varieties for our own domestic consumption. A hardy German heirloom introduction from the 1920’s which has been a popular choice for home gardeners ever since. Plants produce large, firm 5-9lb rounded heads. A very nice flavoured cabbage making it a perfect choice for soups, sauerkraut, and coleslaw. One of the hardiest and best storing cabbage varieties we grow, maturing in 87-90 days days.Â
