Early Frosty Pea (Pisum sativum)This heirloom was originally released in 1966 by the Rogers Brothers Seed Co. of Idaho Falls. Has shown very good disease (wilt) resistance in our soggy maritime climate! Plants are sturdy and uniform, reaching about thirty inches requiring some trellis or support. Pods are about four inches long, dark-green in colour, and containing seven to eight peas each. A good home garden and fresh market variety used for fresh eating or freezing.

Planting Instructions: Sow seeds 1/2 - 1 inch deep, 2 inches apart in row during late spring or when soil temperature is at least 10-15 degrees Celsius.
