Green Arrow Pea (Pisum sativum) Green Arrow aka ‘Green Shaft’ shelling pea was first bred in England as a main season pea crop. These are excellent for fresh eating, freezing, canning, or cooking. Found in pairs at the top of the rather compact bushes are heavy yields of dark green, 4-5 inch pods containing 8 to 10 peas. A tender and sweet pea born on 24-28 inch plants. Very good disease resistance making it an ideal choice for those cultivating on the coasts!
