Purple Velvet Snow Pea (Pisum sativum) - A lovely deep to mottled purple podded snow pea gifted to us in 2019 from a Mr. B. Davis who has grown this one on his New Brunswick acreage for many years. Exceptionally bright pink flowers born on plants that reach around 24-30 inches in height. Plump 3-4 inch pods mature around 60 days and are ideally eaten raw or make a great addition to salads. As with most purple podded legumes, we suggest lightly cooking to retain the purple colour. Limited quantities for 2022.
