Vinedale Pepper (Capsicum annuum) ) This is a very rare heirloom pepper developed in 1928 by the Horticultural Research Institute of Ontario. This pepper had nearly lost circulation, however, thankfully a few seed savers in eastern Canada persevered to grow out and save the seeds over the last 25 years. This is a wonderful short day pepper that produces in abundance, 4-5" red pimiento shaped fruit. Peppers ripen to dark green by 50-55 days followed by deep red around 60-65. A very early producer of uniform and super sweet fruit! *Please save your seeds*
