Winter Luxury Pumpkin (C.pepo) Preceeding the release of the Winter Luxury Pumpkin in 1893 by Johnson & Stokes of PA, this pumpkin was also marketed under the following names: 1.) Livingston’s Pie Squash 2.) Luxury Pie 3.) Golden Russet 4.) Winter Queen 5.) Queen Luxury and 6.) Standard Pie Pumpkin. A very unique pumpkin that is covered with a coarse silvery sheen and has smooth fibre-free flesh. Winter Luxury is an excellent pie pumpkin and also popular in fall displays.
