Midnight Polish Sweet Pepper (Zulu) (Capsicum annuum) - An exquisite heirloom from Poland, this striking ebony black‑purple bell pepper produces medium-sized fruits that mature from deep black to rich red. Sweet at all stages, these peppers are at their peak flavour as they begin to turn red, making them perfect for fresh eating, roasting, or general cooking. We began trials of Midnight Polish in 2020 and have been highly satisfied with the results. Plants are slightly compact, making them ideal for containers, raised beds, or traditional garden plots, while offering reliable yields of these beautiful and flavourful peppers.

Planting Instructions:
Start seeds indoors 8–10 weeks before your last frost date. Sow ¼″ deep in a warm seed-starting mix and keep soil consistently moist and warm for best germination. Transplant seedlings into cell packs or small pots at the 1–2 leaf stage. Harden off plants for 4–5 days once frost risk has passed. Transplant outdoors in full sun when day and night temperatures remain consistently above 10 °C, spacing plants 18–24″ apart in well-drained soil.
