Howden Pumpkin (Cucurbita pepo) Developed by John Howden of Massachusetts in the early 1970s as the ideal 'Halloween pumpkin' with its vibrant orange colour, defined ribbing and sturdy handles. These pumpkins actually finished just under 105 days in our field for 2021 although the average is 110-115 days. A classic standard for your Jack-o'-lantern carving endeavours!
