Blush Tomato (Solanum lycopersicum) - We received our initial seed from a customer in Truro, Nova Scotia, who had sourced it from Annapolis Seeds. Blush was originally developed by Fred Hempel of Artisan Seeds and has been widely circulated for many years, for good reason. This stunning elongated cherry tomato ripens to a warm yellow with red-pink marbling and delicate yellow striping. Exceptionally flavourful, it makes an outstanding salad and snacking tomato. Plants are uniform and extremely prolific, producing high yields on vigorous indeterminate vines with excellent disease resistance.

Planting Instructions: Start seeds indoors 6-8 weeks before last frost. Sow 1/4 inch deep and keep soil warm. Transplant into 1 inch cells or 3-4" pots at 1-2 leaf stage. Harden off plants for 4-5 days after risk of frost has passed. Transplant outdoors once day and night temperatures are consistently above 10 degrees Celsius.
