Stanley Zubrowski Tomato (Solanum lycopersicumThis one comes to us from Mr. Alan at the Cricket Corner in Kennedy SK. His friend Stanley J. Zubrowski of Prairie River, well known for his breeding work with Clematis, put this beautiful tomato together in the late 1980’s. The ’Stan Zubrowski’ is a medium sized red fruit with smooth skin and subtle shoulder ribbing. Semi-determinate plants are prolific producers of spherical 2.5 - 3” bright red, juicy fruits. Excellent disease resistance and not prone to cracking. A real pleasure to grow this prairie gem that matures around 58 days.
