Hungarian Paste Tomato - (Solanum lycopersicum) Another rare heirloom variety from the 'Cricket Corner' collection. This particular source was donated by Sara Williams of Saskatoon. Origins of seed may actually be from the Carrot River area. Expect heavy yields of red, pear-shaped fruits from indeterminate vines. Some similarity to Martino's Roma but fruits are larger and have better crack resistance. A very useful paste tomato that is trouble free to grow.
