Chocolate Drop Tomato (Solanum lycopersicum) A heirloom variety that produces a continuum of dark red-brown, bell shaped drops of sweetness. This variety is similar to Chocolate Pear but with better disease resistance and somewhat larger, ovular fruit. We have grown both and find this strain superior to the 'pear'. Indeterminate plants require some support to keep heavy yielding branches off the ground.
