Early Stupice Container Tomato

Early Stupice Container Tomato (Solanum lycopersicum) - Also known as Stupicke or Stupice, this potato-leaf heirloom is a very tasty and early tomato with roots in the Czech Republic. Developed in the 1940s in Stupicke, a small village near Prague, it is a top choice for northern gardens. Produces prolific yields of small to medium, juicy red fruits about 2" in size. Perfect for container growing or small garden spaces, this variety delivers reliable early harvests.

Planting Instructions: Start seeds indoors 6-8 weeks before last frost. Sow 1/4 inch deep and keep soil warm. Transplant into 1 inch cells or 2 inch pots at 1-2 leaf stage. Harden off plants for 4-5 days after risk of frost has passed. Transplant outdoors once day and night temperatures are consistently above 10 degrees Celsius.
