Purple Bumble Bee Cherry Tomato (Solanum lycopersicum) Purple Bumble Bee tomatoes have become a popular market choice in recent years, likely as a result of their super delicious flavour and unique appearance! A vigorous vine produces multiple red skinned-purple striped, cherry sized fruits. The 1-1.5 inch sweet round-elongated fruits grow in clusters from tall indeterminate vines which will need a support system of a trellis or string. Keep the plants picked and pinch back any suckers to thin so the fruit production is limited to one central growing point.
