Marvel of Venice Climbing Bean (Phaseolus vulgaris)  This Italian heirloom is a Romano type of climbing wax bean, reaching heights of over 8 feet. Long 12 inch yellow pods contain 8 white seeds. Packed with flavour, this white-seeded variety is several days earlier than the black-seeded variety bearing the same name. Pods are 

very tender exhibiting a buttery-like flesh, with absolutely no strings. We have grown this variety in sandy-loam and clay soils during wet periods with no disease issues.
