Polish Pole Bean (Phaseolus vulgaris) A Revival family favourite pole dry bean with brilliant little lavender speckles! We lined out this bean for the first time last season and would say that it is definitely one of the best dry beans we have grown! This bean also makes a great shelling or snap bean when young. A small bean that has origins from Ukraine and Eastern Europe. We know this bean was grown on our original farm in the late 1940’s, but have no record of it past 1961. We are so pleased to have found a reliable seed source from an organic grower in Ontario.
