Tiger’s Eye Bush Bean (Phaseolus vulgaris) Originally from Argentina and Chile. This is one of the most beautiful beans we have ever grown. A very bright golden tone with maroon swirls lanced with golden speckles...justification enough for planting the Tiger’s Eye bean, but they are also a delicious baked bean with rich full-bodied flavour, having a creamy and smooth texture perfect for soups, refried beans and chili dinners. Skins will disappear after cooking, making this bean a suitable substitute for Pinto. Pods are 3-4 inches on bush plants that have a vining tendency.
