Wild Bergamot Bee Balm (Monarda fistulosa) Wild Bergamot, also known as Bee Balm, is a highly fragrant perennial herb that delights both the senses and the garden ecosystem. Its tube-shaped, spiced flowers are not only attractive and edible but are expertly designed with a lower landing pad, providing easy access for busy pollinators such as hummingbirds, bees, and butterflies. The aromatic foliage also helps repel deer and rabbits, and planting Bee Balm near beans or other crops can provide a natural protective barrier. This versatile herb is a standout in herb gardens, perennial borders, and pollinator-friendly landscapes.
