Planting Instructions: Start seeds indoors 3–4 weeks before the last frost, sowing ½ inch deep, or direct sow after the soil has warmed. Transplant or thin to 3–4 feet apart in full sun. Provide rich, well-drained soil and plenty of space or a sturdy trellis for vines. Harvest when gourds are fully mature and shells have hardened.
