Black Prince Snapdragon (Antirrhinum majus) -First introduced to seed houses around 1915, this heirloom snapdragon remains a standout favorite. Both the foliage and flowers are exceptionally striking—dense spikes of deep crimson blooms rise above dark bronze-purple leaves, creating dramatic contrast in the garden. Plants flower generously throughout summer and continue well into autumn. Stunning when paired with white blooms such as Fizzy White Cosmos or White Canterbury Bells.

Growing Information: Start indoors 8–10 weeks before last frost. Sow seeds on the soil surface and press lightly, do not cover, as light is needed for germination. Keep soil moist under bright light. Seeds germinate in 10–14 days.
Harden off seedlings for 7–10 days before transplanting outdoors after frost. Space plants 25–30 cm apart in full sun to partial shade. Snapdragons prefer fertile, well-drained soil.
