Linnaeus Burning Embers Marigold (Tagetes patula) - A glowing beauty from a mile away, this French marigold cannot go unnoticed. Flowers resemble the smouldering, smoky orange embers at the edge of a brush fire. Stems are an antique variety cultivated for many years at the Linnaeus Botanical Gardens in Uppsala, Sweden. Plants reach 24-36 inches in height. A low maintenance and highly fragrant variety which is great for companion planting as it deters insect pests and deer.
