Virden Oxheart Tomato (Solanum lycopersicum) - Another beautiful tomato from the Cricket Corner collection near Kennedy Saskatchewan. This oxheart strain is similar to our Katie's Oxheart with a few notable differences. Virden fruits are heart-shaped but slightly larger and sweeter, ranging from 2.5-4" in diameter. Also, orange-red fruits are thicker walled with more prominent shoulder striping maturing about 7 days earlier than Katie's. A fabulous indeterminate and prolific vine that should be included in your tomato rotation. We are offering this rare variety for the first time exclusively at Revival Seeds!
