Doe Hill Sweet Pepper (Capsicum annuum) - A rare family heirloom from Doe Hill, Virginia, this sweet pepper resembles the Sheepnose Pimento, but is slightly smaller and earlier to mature. A very thick walled, crispy sweet pepper born on compact plants, making it an ideal pepper for containers or small urban gardens. This is a fantastic roasting and grilling pepper.

Planting Instructions: Start seeds indoors 8–10 weeks before your last frost date. Sow ¼″ deep in a warm seed-starting mix and keep soil consistently moist and warm for best germination. Transplant seedlings into cell packs or small pots at the 1–2 leaf stage. Harden off plants for 4–5 days once frost risk has passed. Transplant outdoors in full sun when day and night temperatures remain consistently above 10 °C, spacing plants 18–24″ apart in well-drained soil.
