Drama Queen Poppy or Cressy Red Breadseed Poppy (Papaver somniferum) - As the name suggests, this variety of P. somniferum is sure to make quite a scene in your flower beds with its dramatic purple and violet-red blooms. Flowers are born around 48-50 days on 36-40” stems. Produces a ‘mother load’ of nectar readily available for bees in late spring to early summer!
