Dusty Miller (Jacobaea maritima) - A striking ornamental foliage plant prized for its soft, silvery-white leaves and finely divided, velvety texture. Native to the Mediterranean region, Dusty Miller forms compact, mounded plants approximately 8–18 inches tall, adding beautiful contrast and year-round visual interest to garden beds and containers. Its distinctive silver foliage pairs especially well with brightly coloured flowers, making it a popular choice for borders, edging, cottage gardens, and floral arrangements. Small clusters of yellow, daisy-like flowers may appear in summer, although the plant is primarily grown for its attractive foliage as an annual. Thriving in full sun and well-drained soil, Dusty Miller is heat and drought tolerant once established. An excellent choice for adding texture, colour, and contrast to annual flower displays.
