Dutchman Shelling Pea (Pisum sativum) - These seeds were gifted to us in 2025 from Peter Floris of Paradise, NS. The paper bag was labeled as Large Dutch Peas, and there was only a small handful so we had to grow them in a well secured trial plot. A traditional heirloom garden pea grown for its sweet, tender green peas and dependable productivity. This shelling variety produces plump pods, perfect for enjoying fresh from the garden, freezing, or adding to soups and other favourite dishes.
