Fennel (Foeniculum vulgare) - Fennel is a herb prized for its sweet, licorice-like flavour as well as its many medicinal properties. Planting Instructions: Direct sow seeds outdoors 1–2 weeks before last frost or once soil can be worked. Sow seeds 0.5–1 cm deep in well-drained soil and keep lightly moist until germination. Seeds typically sprout in 7–14 days.
Thin or transplant seedlings to 20–30 cm apart in full sun. Fennel prefers cool conditions, well-drained soil, and does not transplant well once established.
