Feverfew Matricaria (Tanacetum parthenium) - Often used as a filler flower species in beds, borders and as a cut flower in floral arrangements. Blooms resemble miniature daisy-like flowers that are borne on long, sturdy stems.  Can be planted in the spring or fall. Feverfew is considered a short-lived perennial in zones 5-9. Our plants continue to overwinter well here in Nova Scotia (Zone 5) with no mulching and minimal snow cover. Can be grown as an annual in Zone 2b-4.

100 seeds per packet

Growing Instructions:  Start indoors 6–8 weeks before last frost or fall planting. Sow seeds on the soil surface and press lightly—do not cover, as light is required for germination. Keep soil evenly moist using a fine mist. Seeds typically germinate in 10–14 days.

Transplant seedlings into 7–10 cm (3–4") pots once true leaves develop. Harden off for 6–7 days before planting outdoors in spring or fall. Space plants 25–30 cm apart in full sun to partial shade with well-drained soil.
