Flora Norton Sweet Pea (Lathyrus odoratus) An antique variety of sweet pea originally from California. First introduced in 1904 by Lester Morse, son of the late Charles Copeland Morse known as the ‘Seed KIng of America’. The C. Morse company introduced several classic heirloom sweet pea varieties that are still grown today. Flora Norton has a perfume-like fragrance, large butterfly wing standards, and many pastel blue-mauve flowers.
