Garlic Chives (Allium tuberosum) - Also known as Ku Chai in Chinese culture, this flat-leaf variety of chives has a strong garlic flavour and aroma. The white flowers, leaves, and stalks can all be used in cooking, adding a subtle garlicky note to salads and stir-fries. We also grow Garlic Chives as companion plants to help repel aphids from flowers and vegetable crops. The showy white flowers are highly attractive to pollinators.
