Garlic Chives (Allium tuberosum) Also known as Ku Chai in Chinese culture, this flat-leaf variety of Chives boasts a strong garlic flavour and aroma. Using the white flowers, leaves and stalks in cooking adds the 'garlicy' flavour to salads, and stir-fries. We use this herb as a companion plants to repel aphids from flowers or vegetables crops. The white showy flowers are also extremely attractive to pollinators!
