Giant Yellow Scabiosa (Cephalaria gigantea) - Also called 'Giant Pincushion Flower', this very tall growing perennial can reach heights of up to 8 feet. Attractive young foliage remains close to the ground and plant base exuding a fragrant anise-scent. Way up above, blooms of a light mellow yellow dance in the summer breeze. Perfect in cut arrangements, attracting many beneficial pollinators and is particularly loved by bees. A very hardy species that thrives in poorer soil types but prefers full sun.
