Leaves are deeply lobed with classic bitter dandelion-like flavour. Growing Information: Can be planted as early as the soil can be worked. This is cool-weather crop and grows best at temperatures around 15–18°C. Can be direct seeded but transplants are recommended; Sow in ¾" plug trays, barely covering seeds with soil 3–4 weeks before transplanting outdoors. Hardening off requires shading the seedlings on warm ,sunny days and reducing water and temperature for a few days before planting outdoors. Our transplants can easily survive temperatures as low as -5°C. Can be re-sown every 3-4 weeks.
