Jackson Wonder Lima Bush Bean (Phaseolus lunatus) Jackson Wonder was introduced in 1888, quickly becoming a favourite of home and market gardeners. A rich chestnut coloured bean, speckled with maroon, boasting a brilliant nutty flavour. This is a very prolific, compact, bushy plant growing 18-24 inches tall. The Jackson Wonder bean is a relatively low maintenance bean that tolerates both heat and drought very well.
